apt runners raise £350 for Cancer Research UK
A team of runners from Cheltenham-based PR and marketing agency, apt have raised over £350 after taking part in the 10K and 5k Race for Life event at Cheltenham Racecourse last week.
Ruth Butler, Debi McCormack, Gill Bream and Jules Telford joined hundreds of women at Cheltenham Racecourse to take part in the UK’s biggest women-only charity fundraising event, which raises money for the life saving work carried out by Cancer Research UK.
As well as taking part in Race for Life, apt holds a series of fundraising events in aid of Cedars Amethyst Trust, a charity providing free beauty treatments and complimentary therapies at Cedars Beauty Centre for cancer patients in the Gloucestershire area. To date the Trust has treated over 76 individuals, carried out over 195 hours of treatments and have provided over 16 different treatments to them.
