Beauty membership association collaborates with leading brands for BABTAC & CIBTAC Awards 2012
The UK’s leading colour cosmetics brand, Barry M, and supplier of premium quality beauty and spa equipment, Carlton Professional have announced their sponsorship for the BABTAC & CIBTAC Awards 2012.
Run by The British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology (BABTAC) and the educational awarding body for beauty therapists, the Confederation of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology (CIBTAC), the 2012 ceremony will also mark the 35th anniversary for both associations and will be the third industry awards following the success of the events held in previous years.
The Carlton Beauty and Spa Group, part of Carlton Professional and Barry M Cosmetics join ISIS Beauty Academy and Scratch Magazine as sponsors of the event.
The beauty membership association has signed a two-year sponsorship deal with Carlton Professional, the headline sponsors for BABTAC’s most prestigious award: ‘BABTAC Beauty Therapist of the Year’.
Barry M, famed as the most colourful name in cosmetics and one of the UK’s leading fashion cosmetic companies, is now the primary sponsor of the BABTAC & CIBTAC Makeup Artist of the Year award. Commenting on the sponsorship, Managing Director of Barry M, Dean Mero, said, “As one of the few remaining truly British cosmetics companies, we wanted to support the UK beauty industry by sponsoring a category that celebrates talented British makeup artists.”

The awards this year will be held 10th June 2012 at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London. The event is themed ‘a touch of jade green,’ to celebrate the BABTAC & CIBTAC milestone of 35 years as leading voices in the professional beauty industry.
