Background:

Expectations Recruitment Services was a recruitment agency based in Cheltenham specialising in providing both temporary and permanent recruitment solutions within Gloucestershire.

Objectives:

As an alternative to sending Christmas cards to its clients, Expectations Recruitment Services chose to do something more pertinent by visiting Gloucestershire Royal Children’s Hospital with Father Christmas to bring a little joy and presents to Children in hospital over the festive season.

Actions:

Having already organised the visit with the hospital and borrowed a Father Christmas costume for one of their staff members to wear, Expectations asked apt to organise for a sports star to join them to bring even more surprise to the families at the hospital. apt informed the local media who sent a photographer and we spoke to Gloucestershire Fullback, Olly Morgan who generously gave his time to join us and Expectations to give out the presents.

Results:

We weren’t sure who was more impressed with meeting Olly Morgan the children or the parents, but the day was extremely successful and a moving experience for everyone involved.  

The Gloucestershire Echo featured a full-page article on the visit, mentioning the generous donations from Expectations Recruitment Services and rugby star Olly Morgan. Our apt photographer also took photographs for Expectations to use in their annual newsletter.
