Cheltenham inspires local artists for Winter Time exhibition
Gloucestershire artists, Katharine Dove, Fran Browne and Jon Edwards will be exhibiting their work to the public in a seasonal exhibition inspired by Cheltenham and the Cotswolds in the run up to Christmas.
Held at The Wyastone on Parabola Road in Cheltenham on Saturday 17th December and Sunday 18th December, Winter Time is a free exhibition, which presents the work of these talented local artists. The exhibition includes festive scenes of Cheltenham in the snow and winter walks as well as portraits, scenes from the race festivals and art inspired by an African winter by African-born artist, Fran Browne.
Karen Reynolds, owner of The Wyastone commented, “We are really looking forward to the exhibition as it will be our first event of this type held at the hotel. Katharine Dove’s paintings of Cheltenham Town and the Cotswolds are displayed on the walls of the hotel all year round, but to have her work, as well as the wonderful work of two other local artists showcased as an exhibition which is open to the public is fantastic.”
Entry to the exhibition is free and open to all.
