Cheltenham Mediation Services Brand

Background:

Cheltenham Mediation Services provides mediation for disputes arising from family breakdown, divorce, separation, children and finance, wills and inheritance, neighbour disputes and religion.  

The brand was out of date and needed a refresh to reflect the Owner’s commitment to all mediation not just family mediation.

Objectives:

To create a brand that was modern, compact and warm yet retains the idea of a family icon. 

Actions:

Through client discussions, apt assessed the client’s business direction and recommended key objectives.  Although the companies core client base was family mediation the company name ‘Cheltenham Family Mediation’ did not fully explain all the types of mediation services available. 

apt recommended a name change to ‘Cheltenham Mediation Services’ to be more inclusive.

The brand update nodded to the initial company logo but was warmer and less clinicial.  We were very aware that mediation itself is an emotive experience so the colour and tone of the logo and collateral was of paramount importance. 

Upon brand approval, the website and business stationery was brought inline with the new brand positioning. 

Results:

The new brand was warmly received by the client.
