Completion Launch Event

Background:

Established in London, interior and space design specialists, Completion create stylish and elegant homes and businesses by providing a personal design service to enhance internal spaces.

Objectives:

Upon launching its business base in the Cotswolds, Completion wanted to introduce the business to the region with a lunchtime and evening event held at the company’s beautiful Cheltenham showhome. 

Actions:

As a full service agency, apt was able to design the invitations and send to our extensive database of business and social contacts, manage the guest list and provide publicity surrounding the events.  

After an initial visit to the site, we noticed that the clients were also extremely talented artists and encouraged them to display their art, which further impressed the industry professionals and media attending. Julian Williams, former Head Chef to the Prince of Wales treated guests to spectacular canapés, giving a real life demonstration of the kitchen appliances. 

apt used it’s contacts at Cotswold Style, a regional lifestyle magazine read by the company’s target demographic, to organise a competition giveaway in the publication and negotiate maximum publicity. The competition for a pair of elegant antique chairs upholstered by Completion gained a whole page of publicity in the magazine as well as a front-page mention. The giveaway also allowed us to leverage a full page of editorial about the company in the following issue. 

Results:

Artwork displayed at the home generated a great amount of interest and a number of items sold on the day. The services offered by the company also captured the imagination of guests requiring help in achieving their visions for projects from individual rooms to major renovations. 

On a regional scale, The Gloucestershire Echo covered the move of the company within its business supplement and Cotswold Style used photographs taken at the event within its social pages as well as extensively publicising Completion through the competition and a feature about the company. 

apt also gained national hits in interiors magazines such as Designer magazine and Hospitality and Leisure Design.
