Expectations! Recruitment Services is proud to support the James Hopkins Trust

Recruitment agency Expectations! is set to support Gloucestershire children’s charity the James Hopkins Trust, throughout 2014. Staff of Expectations! unanimously voted for the charity, after a recent office poll.

Victoria Maddock, Director of Expectations! Recruitment Services said “we have since visited the charity and experienced first-hand the incredible work that the charity does to support severely disabled children and their families in the county. We were staggered to hear that the charity helps around 80 local families per year, providing over 1100 free nursing hours and respite care per month”.

As a result Expectations! decided to make a pledge to the charity to donate the equivalent of two hours of respite care for each permanent vacancy that they fill for a client during 2014, as well as carrying out ad-hoc fundraising initiatives.

Co-Founder & General Manager Vance Hopkins, of the James Hopkins Trust said “Co-Founder & General Manager Vance Hopkins, of the James Hopkins Trust said “We are delighted that Expectations Recruitment have picked us as their chosen charity for 2014. Their support will make a huge difference to our special children and their families. We would like to pass on our heartfelt thanks to the directors and  staff for choosing us.”

The James Hopkins Trust was formed in 1989 to provide practical help for severely disabled and life limited young children with nursing needs, aged 5 years and under, living in Gloucestershire. The charity has helped over 350 children and families in every corner of the county, providing over 150,000 hours of help to those that desperately need it, from the provision of nursing respite care either in the family home or at their day-care centre, providing specifically adapted equipment to even financial help to assist families that need to attend specialist hospitals outside Gloucestershire.
