Ladies at apt support Movember
The team of women at apt marketing and pr, based in Cheltenham are supporting male friends and relatives throughout the county taking part in Movember and have even gone so far as to sport their own moustaches in aid of the cause!
The moustache-growing charity event held during November each year raises vital funds and awareness for men’s health, with thousands of men in the UK sprouting moustaches in return for generous donations.
Angie Petkovic, Managing Director of apt said, “As passionate supporters of the local cancer charity Cedars Amethyst Trust, we wanted to join in with Movember to raise awareness of male cancers and the work of Cedars Amethyst Trust in offering free relaxation therapies to men suffering from cancer throughout the county. We have all been supporting family and friends taking part with donations but wanted to go the extra mile by wearing our own upper lip accessories to help raise awareness. Two of the pr team even went to a meeting in Montpellier wearing their moustaches, which certainly got the attention of passers-by!”
