now hiring: new uk jobs for beauty industry as demand increases

Beauty membership organisation makes short work of recession with delight about UK job forecast and consumer demand within the six billion pound sector.

With the recent Beautiful Britain report of 1500 hair and beauty professionals indicating that UK salons will need to create 11,000 new jobs this year, the Chair of the predominant beauty membership body BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapists and Cosmetologists) has welcomed these new statistics as they say this will naturally facilitate increased training standards and trading profits for therapists. The research findings predict UK salons hiring additional staff this year with a noticeably sharp increase in male hair and beauty footfall.

BABTAC & CIBTAC Chair Kim C.A. Ford states, “The surge in employment and customer demand for hair and beauty treatments can only be a good thing for our business especially amid the recession. These new jobs will result in better trading for therapists and salons as well as a more competitive field when it comes to the quality of training and accountability expected. The Beauty industry as a sector is one people are really envying at the moment whilst others sadly struggle. Our hard working professionals should feel extra proud today.”
