Cheltenham based recruitment specialist Andrew Fraser have just announced their plans for celebrating National Temporary Workers Week on 6-10 June 2005.
Business turnover through temporary recruitment reached £22.5 billion in 2003-2004 as 1.5 million temporary workers go out on assignment in a typical week!
Temporary workers are the office staff that makes sure our counties companies keep running. They are also the doctors, drivers and teachers that we depend upon.
Temporary workers do all the jobs that permanent workers do. With 1.4 million of them registered with agencies across the UK, temporary workers are no longer a niche within the workforce – they are the workforce.
