GRADUATE SUCCESS TAKES TOP GRADUATES STRAIGHT TO THE FRONT OF THE QUEUE FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES

Graduate Success is holding live events around the country to work with the top 10% of graduates to make the transition from student to desirable employee. Company Director, Simon Reichwald, will be at the University of Leeds on Thursday, 6th October to identify those undergraduates that have the personality and drive to make excellent candidates for some of the UK’s top companies.
Simon comments, “It isn’t enough, any more, for students to rely purely on their grades to get them the best jobs. Employers want to be able to see evidence of other requirements, such as ambition, drive, commitment, practicality and emotional intelligence. We teach students to understand the competencies required for the job that they applying for and how they can demonstrate that they have these skills.”
The live events will be the starting point for Graduate Success’ search for the country’s top graduates, when Simon will be explaining to undergraduates what they need to do in order to become a desirable employee. Taking students through the job application process from CV through to interview techniques and advice, Simon then goes on to explain how he separates the ‘wheat from the chaff’.
The students are invited to assessment days, which involve interviews, group exercises and presentations. They also take verbal, numeric and personality tests to give them chance to display a range of skills that employers find desirable. With such a large number of students graduating from university it is essential that both employers and graduates are able to identify and be identified as the best.
Graduate Success works with companies such as Coors Brewers Ltd and GTI Specialist Publishers to provide them with confident, bright, hardworking employees.
