New website appeal will position spotlight on customer service experiences
A new blog entitled Serves you right, is appealing for consumer tales of customer service. The mascot of the new website will be ‘Reg’, a fictional grumpy old man who typifies a nosey campaigning neighbour. He sorts through his email postbag, illuminating heroes and villains from any sector of the service industry. The blog will provide an entertaining and addictive platform for consumers to speak up publicly with anecdotes about frustrating, poor or surprisingly good customer service.
In a bold move, contributors to the site can also choose whether or not to name, shame or champion a specific hotel, shop, restaurant or organisation if they feel they want to. The new blog also looks set to include celebrity and notable guest posts that reveal their customer service tales exclusively with Reg.
