REMEMBER YOUR WEDDING DAY IN AN INDIVIDUAL WAY


Nothing instantly evokes memories like a scent. Now brides-to-be can capture this special time of their lives and bottle it. Artisan Perfumer, John Stephen, works with small groups - minimum of six and a maximum of ten people - to design and create their own signature scent. Providing a perfect gift for a bride, or a memorable get together for a hen party.

Having designed your own unique perfume, chances are, you will want to wear it forever. The Cotswold Perfumery will keep details of your secret formula on record, so that you, or a loved one, can re-order more at a later date.
This fascinating day takes place in the impressive laboratories of the Cotswold Perfumery, in the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water. Starting at 9.15 am and running through to 4.00 pm the day costs £99 and includes lunch, tea and coffee breaks and a 25ml bottle of the scent you have created. Individual attention is given throughout.
Following a walk around the perfume garden to experience essential oils in their natural state, there is then a lesson on how perfumes are classified into groups. After the chance to compare oils produced by various extraction methods and appreciate the basic theory of perfume creation, it’s time to put the theory into practice. Blending your own perfume from the range of oils supplied, there is a choice of using some of the best materials available in the world.
Alternatively, as a qualified pilot, John can fly to any destination in the country and bring the perfumery to the group. This option costs £1,250, again for a maximum of ten people.
As well as the unique opportunity to customise your own perfume, the day will also teach you how to develop and become more aware of your own sense of smell - the most highly attuned of all the senses.
