Soho brings Organic Coffee and Fresh Food to the motorway
SOHO Coffee Co. is extending its franchise operation into UK motorway service areas in partnership with Roadchef; opening its first outlet at the M5’s South-bound Strensham Services on Friday 16 May.
The newly signed deal with Roadchef will see a first trial store opening at Strensham and, if successful, will lead to a progressive roll-out of the SOHO Coffee brand within the 29-strong Roadchef estate.
SOHO is proud to partner Roadchef in this initiative, further expanding its franchise network and bringing the unique characteristics of its brand to motorway travellers.
These developments come at a time of intense activity for SOHO. Following a hugely successful and busy 2007, the chain will be opening a new flagship store at the Cribbs Causeway shopping centre in June, with plans for a further three stores during the remainder of 2008.
SOHO Director Penny Manuel is extremely upbeat about this fantastic opportunity for the rapidly expanding fresh food and coffee chain:“Partnering Roadchef gives us a wonderful opportunity to take SOHO’s unique offering onto the UK motorway network. SOHO will bring customers a new level of quality and innovation, by offering genuinely fresh, locally sourced and organic produce, prepared on-site in our own kitchen.”
SOHO already has a successful franchise business with SSP catering for passengers in the UK and Ireland airports. Four stores have opened in the last 18 months and a further outlet is opening at BristolAirport in July.
