NASTY NIFFS ARE OVER AS OZONE GAS OFFERS A FIRST FOR COUNTY
A Bourton-on-the-Water family-owned laundry business is one of only three places in the UK to install a disinfecting machine that removes bacteria from clothes.
An ozone de-odourising machine has been installed at Mary’s Laundry in Bourton-on-the-Water. This unusual airtight ‘closet’ is the only one of its kind in the South West and one of only three to exist in the UK. The unique and proven technology takes place inside a stainless steel cleaning cabinet called the Elozo where ozone gas is created in the chamber using atmospheric oxygen. The ozone eliminates odour molecules and removes germs like salmonella and listeria from clothing, shoes and textiles. Ozone kills microorganisms by oxidising their cells. It can also be used for sensitive garments and decontaminating equipment that cannot come into contact with water or be dry cleaned.

We are privileged to be just one of three locations in the whole of the UK to offer this system!”
Theatres, historical re-enactment and fancy dress shops are likely to use the machine as well as being an exciting new option to deal with local NHS clothing, emergency service uniforms and nursing home requirements. Local companies and NHS services are likely to benefit from such a modern system. There are no residues or ozone emissions from this solvent free way of de-odourising.
