A job working with the Queen of Coffee 

Lucky University of Gloucestershire student to be mentored by
Businesswoman of the Year.

University of Gloucestershire Marketing Student Sam Magee has scooped a year's work placement with SOHO Coffee Co. learning operational and supervisory roles within the company alongside Gloucestershire Media's Woman of the Year Penny Manuel, Director.

Simon Dove, Head of Centre for Work Based Learning at the University of Gloucestershire states, "Driving talent into local prestigious businesses and organisations is good news for our students and the county."

Sam looks set to begin her role in September and will be doing a business placement covering all disciplines as well as be tasked with Twitter, blog, marketing and web projects whilst being mentored by Penny Manuel. Currently, Sam is working part time at the Cambray outlet.

SOHO Coffee Co Director Penny Manuel, recently won the coveted Woman of the Year title at Gloucestershire Media's Women in Business Awards 2011.
